New Year - New Update

With the new Year comes a new spring refresh for the website. Royal blue brandished with golden outlines, sporting the colors of our own guild banner.

Congratulations to Group 1, you've moved Iron Knights into Heroic Mode progression in this expansion. I look forward to updates from both groups as their progression continues its upward bound.

Recruitment status is still open. Talks are taking place of launching a 3rd Dragon Soul 10 man group in the upcoming weeks. I've already begun recruiting for this group, as well as recruiting replacements for some of our comrades who've moved onto Star Wars.

In the upcoming weeks as soon as I can get in touch with Becka, I'm going to be updating again with a Star Wars section of the website for those moving in that direction. Becka will most likely be running this division, as I have no wish to pay another 30$ a month for a gaming addiciton.

Now we'll move onto the questions daunting the minds of all prospective future Iron Knights in our World of Warcraft division.

Iron Knights is now accepting applications from all classes looking to raid Dragon Soul. Lets start by answering the questions you're asking yourself right now.

If I am applying to Iron Knights, what is expected of me?

We expect your application to be filled out completely and in detail. Please ensure that you have the following applying.

Proper Gems

Proper Enchants

Proper Glyphs

Viable Professions

Non Optional parts of our application are just that, not optional. Please tag a screenshot of your UI and a DPS parse to your application. If you are currently not using worldoflogs, hit a target dummy for 2 minutes and screenshot your recount DPS. Healers, screenshot yourself healing in BH with recount up.

What kind of loot system do you use?

Iron Knights uses an officer driven loot council and has for approximately 4 years. Members are looted based on attendance, performance, readiness, and attitude. To keep our loot council unbiased, officers having a personal relationship with any member rolling on loot are forced to recuse themselves from voting on that particular item. ***Probationary members are not eligible for loot rolls***

I don't want my current guild to know I'm looking elsewhere, can we keep this private?

As a registered user of our website, you and the members of Iron Knights are the only people able to see your application. Officers of this guild will not approach your current guild telling them that you're looking elsewhere. Your application is 100% confidential and will not be shared with anyone outside of Iron Knights.

What can I expect if I'm accepted?

Iron Knights has a 2 week probationary period. During this time we gauge your attendance, performance, and attitude during raid lockouts. We want to make sure you are a perfect fit for us, and that you believe the same. We want to make sure you're not constantly dead, that you can move out of Area of Effect damage, that you can follow instructions during a raid lockout.

Good job in tonight's Firelands bosses tonight. 1-shot Shannox, and had a solid night of attempts on Baleroc that resulted in a kill. Let's keep this tempo up and start adapting strategies to 25m.

Guildomatic was getting a little pricey, and was amazingly hard to customize on your own. After some extensive searching, and a bit of work by myself and Issiria, we've come up with this beauty.

Updates will take place over the weekend as frequently as I have time for, to get this thing ready for a release to the public. Those of you that we show prior to the release date, if you have comments or suggestions, msg me here or in game mail me.
